Friday afternoon and through the late evening, a sad and terrifying event occurred in Farmington, AR.  A car struck a gas main which caused the car and the gas line to erupt in flames.  Several crews battled for a little over 9 hours to keep the fire contained until gas company crews could shut off the gas main.  I was able to capture some heat of the moment photos of firefighters from Farmington, Fayetteville, and Prairie Grove battling the blaze.

Here's a salute to all of the firefighters, police officers, and first responders that worked that tragic event. Thank you for your service and helping to keep our community from harms way.  You all don't get credit at times that you deserve and these photos from this tragic event captured the team work and dedication that comes from you all being our hometown protectors.  I thank each an everyone of you for putting your lives on the line to protect our community, not just that night but each and everyday you put your uniform on.
